Christmas theme

Hi

Christmas theme looks cool but it's eating my CPU-time (uses a little more than 50%)
Sometime even freezes my compy for a moment

hey tom

some ppl on another forum i go on have had the same problem with the snow.... caused all sorts of problems.

if theres an option in your user profile for another theme that should do the trick... pick one without the snow for now.

must admit though on the other forum i get no problems with the snow but on here it has slowed things down again :?

i dont get it either... its fine on the other forum i go on. infact the snow realy belts down

but here it comes down realy slow. :?

could it be something else is the problem? and the snow is just making it a tad worse?

for me page load times are good but scrolling up and down has always been abit choppy.... maybe a gfx setting or to much quility in some of the pics or theme? gota be something like that :?

dont give up on the snow dude its a good :D

It's ok, let it snow.

My compy at work doesn't have the best graphics card (2.5 years old and is a "work"-station not a "play"-station...)
That's probably part of the cpu-problem. Compy freezing only happened once, probably there were other reasons for that...

btw: real snow annouced here for Saturday, looking forward to it :D
Yeah, I like it, makes the dark days brighter, and is useful for skiing :D

If it causes too many probs for people I will take it off and see if it helps things.

well tbh if you leave your computer out in the snow, then it will melt and wreck it. snow turns to water upon melting. DOH
