Stop. Talking. About. Paint. dot XXXXing NET!!!
This has been a right royal pain in my backside for the last two days as I've had to repackage it so it can be sent to XP and W7 PC's on the company network. It's setup routine contains links to download and install dotNET-3.5-SP1 and the MSI it unpacks can't be used directly - I've had to run run a separate command to create a new MSI but even then it is so non-standard that I can't create a working transform for it.
Bet you lot have no idea what I'm talking about!

But this is my job, taking software that you can install on a single machine and re-working it so it can be automatically installed on thousands over the network and it just so happens that I;ve been dumped with Paint.NET. From a single user POV it's a great install routine as ut does everything for you, from a deployment standpoint to more machines it's a tad more tricky.
Still, it's a living!
